Guarantee

We take every precaution to ensure our babies receive proper nutrition with an environment free of disease. We fully guarantee that the birds have no symptoms of disease or parasites at the time of sale/shipping.

1)      The health of the bird is guaranteed for 24 hours through examination by an AVIAN CERTIFIED veterinarian at the discretion and

expense of the buyer. If the bird is found to be of unsatisfactory health and written documentation from a licensed,

AVIAN CERTIFIED veterinarian is presented, the buyer will immediately deliver the bird to the breeder and receive a full refund

of the purchase price of the bird. This documentation must include band number and species. The breeder will not be responsible for any

expenses incurred by the buyer during this time or for costs to return the bird to the breeder.

2)       In the unlikely event of death within twelve (12) days of the buyer taking possession, the bird must be wrapped in paper towels,

placed in a plastic bag, and refrigerated, (not frozen), until a necropsy can be performed, by a qualified, licensed Avian Veterinarian

within seventy-two hours after death. All reports must be sent to our veterinarian, and include band number and species. If necropsy

proves beyond doubt, that death occurred from problems originating prior to the sale a full refund for the cost of the bird,

applicable taxes, and the cost of the necropsy will be provided. The breeder will not be responsible for any other expenses and takes

no responsibility for problems occurring in other birds, as per clause 3(a), the bird must be quarantined and it is the buyer's responsibility to do so.

3)     Guarantee is void if all the following requirements are not followed:

         (a) The bird must be quarantined away from all other birds and an examination by an Avian Certified Veterinarian must be

done within 24 hours after possession.

         (b) If you currently have other birds or have had birds in the same environment within the past year, you must provide

documentation of their health and past medical history.

The reasoning for this is that many viruses can stay in the environment for many months after an infected bird is removed.

Shipping

  1. We will ship birds, at your expense to destinations in Canada only.

  2. We ship only with the major airlines that provide heated cargo space. Airfreight charges vary depending on which airline, quantity & weight, but charges are usually around $75-$120.

  3. We will ship year round; however, we check for weather conditions at the origin and destination to ensure there are no delays. If delays are possible, shipping will be re-scheduled.
